Climate change is the greatest threat to face humankind. From rising temperatures and sea levels, the impacts of climate change are becoming increasingly visible with the potential to profoundly impact the course of human history.

To prevent the worst effects of climate change, we need to transit to a net zero emissions economy as soon as possible.

However, achieving net zero is not enough. After net zero is reached, we need to continue to decrease the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere to a near pre-industrial level through net-negative emissions.
